Since our founding, Taekwondo Cymru has had the opportunity to help countless students acquire foundational skills, develop new techniques and confidently move forward in their learning journey.
Established by Master Porl Stone in 1992, the club has built a strong reputation on the sport circuit producing Welsh, British and Commonwealth medallists - including a number of AAU Junior Olympians along the way.

Under the training of Master Porl Stone, numerous Welsh students have been fortunate enough to be accepted onto the Great Britain National Junior Team.

Taekwondo Cymru is a proud member of the National Governing Body - British Taekwondo (WT) and all instructors hold an up to date DBS and insurance.

The club offers training to novices and those with fighting experience & as members of British Taekwondo we are able to provide our students with the first

step onto the Olympic pathway.
